Minkar III has an temperature of 23-30 degrees celsius, an average of 9 degrees warmer than Minkar V. the rotation is 1.2 times terrain norm with an orbit of 0.83 terrain norm while the gravity is 1.15 terrain norm. The main landmass fully encircles the planet at the equator and moving into the northern hemisphere includes a land bridge that covers the northern pole and splits the two small arctic oceans. The southern hemisphere is almost entirely water but include two island contents. The smaller landmass, about 1.4 million square km, is a penal colony for the system while the second continent, about 4.7 million square km, is the home base, training and staging area for the Jade Templars Space Marine chapter, Beloved to be a Salamanders successor chapter. While most of the northern continent is used for industrial resource gathering and manufacturing not available within the city of Minkar almost 30 percent of this land is owned by the Adeptus Ministorum and managed by the Order of the Sacred Rose. The convent of Minkar, Order of the Sacred Rose has a sprawling complex covering over 325,000 sq km within its fortified walls.

Minkar III is home to a Covent Primus maintained by Convent Prioris of Terra. The Convent is home to over 800 Sisters Hospitaller from the Order of the Sacred Torch, 600 Sisters Dialogous from the Order of the Sacred Oath, almost 100 Sisters Famulous from the Order of the Sacred Coin and a full Preceptory of Battle Sisters from the Order Of The Sacred Rose. With office and supplementary staff over 4000 sisters and 2000 lay members and almost 1000 other member of the Adeptus Ministorum make the Convent of Minkar their home. The Supreme Reverend Mother Sarai Yocheved Khnemu heads the convent with a command star that includes 16 Canoness. 2 each overseeing the services of the orders Sacred Torch, Sacred Oath, and Sacred Coin, 9 military commanders and one Canoness to help run the Adeptus Ministorum lands.

With an estate of over 325,000 sq km under their direct management the convent is the most visible part of the Adeptus Ministorum within this sector. Forestry, agriculture, and mining (including gems and precious metals) all bring money into the church coffers and the massive estate create a safe, controlled environment for several Ministorum schools and Schola Progenium. The militant orders have a large area for training exercises and often host sections of the Minkar Guard.

The Preceptory of Minkar includes 9 Commanderies comprised of almost 2500 sisters under arms. With the heavy infestation of Orks in surrounding system the Militant orders have been called on repeatedly to support the Navy and Astra Militaurm. In general all but the sixth Commandery and parts of the first will be on off world assignments but all will rotate on planet for rest and refit.

 – Minkar IIIc, the third moon of Minkar III is used as a staging area for off world engagements of the Order of the Sacred Rose. Most of the convents military vehicles are held and maintained here awaiting interplanetary transport by the Imperial Navy. In system transport craft are also maintained here so that the convent may supports its members posted to Minkar V

The Supreme Reverend Mother Sarai Yocheved Khnemu Has held the post of Canoness Superior for only three years becoming, at age 120, the youngest Canoness not only of the Order of the Sacred Rose, but also of any of the Ordos Militant within the Adeptus Ministorum. Sarai Yocheved, like all members of her order, grew up in the Schola Progenium. She had been orphaned in one of the wars on Rhanna. After showing strong discipline and a knack for martial skills at an early age she was transferred to Convent Prioris on Terra where she advanced quickly. At age 32 she took a field promotion and commanded her first squad during the campaign to remove Orks from the planet Jhanna during The Waagh of Zogfang Nazu. The field promotion was upheld and her status as a Sister Superior gave her ample chances to hone her tactical skills. The Orks again helped her advance within the order when they attacked Quisto’Rol. The Celestian Superior used Sarai Yocheved as an aid and planner during the campaign. On the urging of the Celestian Superior the Supreme Reverend Mother Jonatha Shamyra Vessey granted the now 44 year old Sariah the rank of Celestian Superior and gave her a command of the Levana Vanguard. Within a month of finalizing its makeup the Levana Vanguard left Minkar for the Eastern Fringe and a Ten-year Engagement with the remains of Hive Fleet Medusa. Celestian Superior Sarai Yocheved was called back to Minkar and spent the next five years as the personal assistant to Reverend Mother Jonatha Shamyra Vessey. Given the post of Canoness and command of the 4th Commandery of Minkar at 63 she spent the next 40 years and three campaigns against the Ork infestations to strengthen her Commandery and show strength of faith body and mind but also independence of thought and willingness to make hard choices. While on a pilgrimage and visit to the planet Chiros with the full Monkar command a Dark Eldar slave party attacked. The Reverend Mother Jonatha Shamyra Vessey chose personally to lead the city defense forces. Celestian Superior Sarai Yocheved took a Seraphim Squad to run reconnaissance. When she returned she learned that the Supreme Reverend Mother had engaged Dark Eldar forces that had attacked from the far side of the city. There were no survivors and Supreme Reverend Mother Jonatha Shamyra Vessey’s body could not be found. Sarai Yocheved Khnemu became a middle ground candidate that, while no one wanted, all parties concerned could at least accept. At the age of 120 Sarai Yocheved Khnemu was raised to the post of Canoness Superior. Sarai Yocheved proceeded to bring many of her most trusted members of Force Vardice and the 4th Commandery back to form the new core of the Preceptory of Minkar.
